Until someone convinces me otherwise I&#039;m working with the assumption that hardware performance will outpace software requirements for most systems. As long as that&#039;s true it&#039;s unlikely I&#039;ll ever care about the performance overhead of NFS as long as it&#039;s reliable and resiliant and no more cost wise than the alternatives.</description>
