In this episode, we explore the word of hyperscale networking and how the advances made there are struggling to find a place in today’s enterprises. Facebook, Google, and Amazon need precise solutions to their problems. But are those solutions something you need? Or are they building a monster you will never be able to bend to your will?
I am starting to doubt that those advances will ever be useful to the normal people out there. I might end up being wrong, and we might get our next Velcro or ceramic tile or even Fisher Space Pen out of the deal as we did with the Space Race, but I’m going to take a cynical approach until more enterprises start making this a bigger deal.
