Wi-Fi 6E has started to show signs of a usage uptick, and predictions are that it will reach the optimum point by next year. If you have been following the industry trends, you’d know that a lot of the companies operating in this space have their eyes set on 2023 as the sweet spot for launching Wi-Fi 6E capable access points and devices.
This is not just on a hunch. Conditions are ripe for real. If the trends are to be believed, Wi-Fi 6E is the next frontier and as of today, 2023 seems likely to be the year for wide-scale adoption. That is exactly why companies are eager to bring more Wi-Fi 6E supporting products into the market by 2023 so that when the transition starts, there’re enough devices available to support it.
The Networking Nerd has an illuminating article on this forecast that explores the question- why 2023 could be the year of Wi-Fi 6E? Tom Hollingsworth, a long-time network specialist and a Tech Field Day event lead writes,

I know that writing the title of this post probably made you shake your head in amusement but I truly believe that we’ve hit the point of adoption of Wi-Fi 6E next year.
