Blade servers are not a good solution for VMware VSAN or any other converged infrastructure. My opinion is even more radical, as I think blade servers has almost never been a good solution “at all”… I don’t like blade servers, and in this post I’m going to explain you why, reason by reason.
Be careful, there is nothing in favor of blade servers listed here.
Luca makes some valid points about blades in this post. I think the market for blades is narrow but growing in converged data centers. What do you think?
