Cloud Field Day is our opportunity to look at the next generation of enterprise IT, from public cloud to software as a service, containers to Kubernetes. Every Cloud Field Day event reflects the diversity of solutions and expertise in modern cloud computing, and our November event is no exception. From compute to cost management, networking to memory to storage, the cloud is ready for the enterprise. But are enterprise architects ready to adopt these technologies?
Cloud Field Day will be broadcast live on the Tech Field Day website starting at 8 AM Pacific time Wednesday through Friday. We will have more presentations each day, with a total of two on Wednesday and Friday and three on Thursday.
Cloud Field Day 12 begins on Wednesday with Prosimo at 8 Pacific. They’re leading the charge to bring autonomous multi-cloud networking to the enterprise. Then we have Juniper Networks at 10:30. A familiar face at many Field Day events, Juniper has invested heavily in SD-WAN technology for enterprise cloud customers.
On Thursday we will see Ondat at 8. Formerly known as StorageOS, Ondat’s new name reflects their focus on cloud enablement through scalable Kubernetes-native storage. Next we’ll get an update on OpenShift from Red Hat at 11. This enterprise-ready Kubernetes container platform has become the standard hybrid cloud platform. We wrap the second day at 1:30 PM with MemVerge. Their big memory technology allows massive application scalability and enables new features for persistent memory technologies.
Friday we will hear from Veeam Software at 8. They are connecting the datacenter to the cloud and enabling data protection and disaster recovery for businesses of any size. Then we will wrap the event at 11 with Yotascale. They are revolutionizing cloud cost management, enabling smarter decisions, and reducing wasted spending.
All of our sessions are broadcast live on our Tech Field Day website and recorded and shared on YouTube and LinkedIn as well. We welcome participation on Twitter using hashtag #CFD12.
You can learn more about the event and our panel of independent technical influencers by visiting the Cloud Field Day event page. Each of our delegates has their own blog, podcast, or social media platform where they share their thoughts on enterprise technology from servers to storage to networking and beyond.
