Even More Networking Field Day Headed Your Way May 12-14, 2021!

When we plan out our year of events, we always try to find the right balance to ensure that we’re bringing you great presentations. We don’t want to hold an event just once a year if there are presenters that want to share with our great community. However, we also don’t want to leave out any other great topics of interest and overload your ability to tune in.

Sometimes we have such an overwhelming call to reach the community that we need to add to our lineup. That’s what happened with our May Networking Field Day event! We had so many great companies ready to share with the Tech Field Day community that we added this event to our calendar to make sure they had the opportunity.

Networking Field Day Presenters

This Networking Field Day event is packed with companies that are building the next generation of hardware and software to keep your networks operating at peak performance. They’re helping you solve the hard problems to keep your users happy and productive. Whether it’s a router, a switch, or a software platform, you’re going to find something here that you need to know about.

Wednesday kicks off with Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company. We’re thrilled to have them back at the event to talk about all of their new technology, especially since their recent acquisition of Silver Peak. I’m sure we’ll learn more about how that will integrate into their future networking offerings. They’re followed by Intel, a long-time friend of the event. We’ll be talking all things Ethernet with their team and learning what cutting-edge solutions they’re developing for us to use soon. Wednesday finishes up with a look at Arrcus, who is coming back for their second presentation at Networking Field Day. With all the changes in the lineup of Broadcom switching platforms, I’m sure they’re going to have a lot to share with us with new features and new capabilities that you can take advantage of!

Thursday sees the return of Kemp to our event. Their Flowmon acquisition is paying huge dividends and their appearance at Security Field Day was a great one. We’ll see what they have in store for our packet moving audience. They’re followed by VMware, one of the leaders in networking technology for the data center and the cloud. There’s no doubt they’ll have awesome presenters and a great story to tell. The final presenter on Thursday is IP Infusion. They’ve been a part of Networking Field Day in the past and while you may not know their name, you’ve likely seen their network operating system before. Learn how they’re adding capabilities to all the platforms they work with.

Friday starts with Nokia, who will be talking about their exciting routing technology and showing our delegates what they’ve been working on since we last got to see them. Our next presenter is PathSolutions, the network monitoring company that has been making lots of noise since the pandemic started. Tim Titus and his team have been adding great features to their solution that can help you troubleshoot performance issues no matter where your workers are located. Juniper Networks is closing out the event with a presentation that will focus on a lot of the technology that was acquired recently when Apstra came into the fold. We’ll be learning how they plan to integrate and work together to extend both capabilities to users that need the intelligence to make SDN work for them.

Delegates Old and New

We’re excited to hear from some of our great Networking Field Day delegates at well! We can’t wait to talk to newcomers Bryton Herdes, Chris Cummings, and Kerstin Mende-Stief. We’re thrilled they can join us for this outstanding event. We also have a wonderful lineup of returning names, including Terry Slattery, Rodrigo Rovere, Pieter-Jan Nefkens, Kim Pedersen, Jeremy Schulman, Ed Horley, Chris Grundemann, and Carl Fugate. You can click on their names to learn all about them and see all the great posts they’ve made about the presentations they’ve been a part of so far!

If you’re interested in being a part of the delegate lineup at a future Field Day event, make sure you fill out our Delegate Nomination form. Once we have your information, we can put you on the list to potentially be a delegate at a future event. You never know when you might get the call!
