Network Automation and Change | Tomversations: Episode 21

Networks aren’t the easiest thing in the world to configure or manage. That is true for most IT department functions but networking especially seems to get the short end of the stick. Other than maybe the security team, the networking group is the Department of No. Why is networking seen as a blocking function in modern IT? Has that motivated DevOps teams to chase the cloud for the efficiency and productivity improvements instead of waiting for the network team to get with the program?

In this episode of Tomversations, we look at how network automation is driving the adoption of more cloud policies and features in the enterprise network. We also examine how these choices are removing barriers to DevOps but also putting networking jobs at risk of disappearing. Should networking teams get on board with the new way things are being done?
