Many commentators have been surprised that Red Hat has remained so independent since IBM acquired the company in 2019. But this is changing, at least for the Red Hat storage portfolio: Most Red Hat storage products are moving to IBM’s Spectrum line under GM Dennis Kennelly, and IBM is replacing Red Hat as the sponsor of the Ceph Foundation. What does this say about IBM, Red Hat, and the storage market?

Two new CVE were announced that could allow attackers to combine into remote code execution for multiple versions of Microsoft exchange server run on premises.
