Artificial intelligence is making its mark on every aspect of computing, but AI Field Day is focused on how it impacts enterprise IT. More applications are bringing machine learning capabilities, and companies are looking at deploying their own artificial intelligence applications as well. That’s what AI Field Day is all about, and what I talk about every week on the Utilizing AI podcast.
AI Field Day 3 has a special focus on data, since that’s a critical component of the AI stack. In fact, the next episode of the On-Premise IT Roundtable podcast focuses specifically on the relationship between data, storage, and AI. Listen in for that episode, publishing May 17, in preparation for AI Field Day!
AI Field Day is broadcast live on the Tech Field Day website and Tech Field Day LinkedIn page starting at 8 AM Pacific time on Wednesday and Thursday. We will have more presentations throughout the day, including roundtable discussions, podcast recordings, and special guest speakers!
We’ll start things out with DDN at 8 AM on Wednesday. You’ll find DDN storage in most massive-scale AI deployments, including NVIDIA’s SuperPODs! But DDN is also partnering with most other AI providers, as you will hear during their presentation. At 11 AM we will welcome NetApp to the stage. NetApp is leading the way in hybrid cloud, deploying scalable storage from the datacenter to public cloud and the edge. This naturally puts them at the heart of many AI deployments, and that’s what we’re listening for. We’ll wrap up Wednesday with a special guest speaker you won’t want to miss!
Thursday starts with a live roundtable discussion at 8 AM followed by WEKA presenting at 9:30. WEKA is building a next-generation data platform for AI with performance, scalability, and reliability. We’ve been very impressed by WEKA’s story at past Field Day events and can’t wait to get the latest! We’ll also hear from Intel at 1 PM. They have been making waves in AI from Optane and networking to Xeon and FPGA and are also contributing to many open source projects.
All of our sessions are broadcast live on the Tech Field Day website and LinkedIn page and recorded and shared on YouTube as well. We welcome participation on Twitter using hashtag #AIFD3.
You can learn more about the event and our panel of independent technical influencers by visiting the overall AI Field Day 3 page. Each of our delegates has their own blog, podcast, or social media platform where they share their thoughts on enterprise technology from servers to storage to networking and beyond. Thank you for joining AI Field Day live May 18 and 19 or on our social media channels.
