Welcome to the hybrid-cloud era. The modern data center has merged with the cloud and multi-cloud solutions are everywhere. The question is how to best make use of cloud infrastructure rather than simply adopting everything as-a-service. That’s the focus of our next Cloud Field Day event on January 31st and February 1st as we learn the latest in data and networking infrastructure, data platforms, and application scaling. Here’s a quick overview of what to look forward to.
Event Schedule
The event begins with Neuroblade at 8AM Pacific Time on Wednesday. They’re building an incredible accelerator for data platforms and I can’t wait to give you a sneak peek at it. Then we’ve got something really special from SoftIron at 10:30AM. They’ll be sharing some significant news you definitely don’t want to miss. We’ll hear from Platform9 at 1PM Pacific showcasing their groundbreaking elastic machine pool capability. EMP delivers serious cost savings on AWS and I’m sure the FinOps crowd will love this product.
On Thursday we’ll be visiting Dell Technologies as their presentation begins at 8AM Pacific. They’re presenting a strategy for multi-cloud infrastructure with Apex. Then we’ll hear from Broadcom at 1PM sharing the latest in smarter cloud networking infrastructure, including the Trident 5 and Thor 2.
