Looking at the Hybrid-Cloud Era at Cloud Field Day 19

Welcome to the hybrid-cloud era. The modern data center has merged with the cloud and multi-cloud solutions are everywhere. The question is how to best make use of cloud infrastructure rather than simply adopting everything as-a-service. That’s the focus of our next Cloud Field Day event on January 31st and February 1st as we learn the latest in data and networking infrastructure, data platforms, and application scaling. Here’s a quick overview of what to look forward to.

Event Schedule

The event begins with Neuroblade at 8AM Pacific Time on Wednesday. They’re building an incredible accelerator for data platforms and I can’t wait to give you a sneak peek at it. Then we’ve got something really special from SoftIron at 10:30AM. They’ll be sharing some significant news you definitely don’t want to miss. We’ll hear from Platform9 at 1PM Pacific showcasing their groundbreaking elastic machine pool capability. EMP delivers serious cost savings on AWS and I’m sure the FinOps crowd will love this product.

On Thursday we’ll be visiting Dell Technologies as their presentation begins at 8AM Pacific. They’re presenting a strategy for multi-cloud infrastructure with Apex. Then we’ll hear from Broadcom at 1PM sharing the latest in smarter cloud networking infrastructure, including the Trident 5 and Thor 2.

Follow the Event Live

You can also catch Cloud Field Day delegates on a special episode of On-Premise IT Tuesday and we’ll have more behind the scenes shorts, Tech Talks, and extras recorded in Silicon Valley. All of our sessions are broadcast live on LinkedIn and the Tech Field Day page as well as recorded and shared on YouTube. We welcome participation on X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Mastodon. You can learn more about the event and our panel of independent technical influencers by visiting the Tech Field Day website. Each of our delegates has their own blog, podcast, or social media platform where they share their thoughts on Enterprise technology from servers to storage to networking and beyond. We’re proud to have Camberley Bates and Steven Dickens joining us from The Futurum Group and we look forward to their analysis and reactions as well.

Cloud Field Day is broadcast live on LinkedIn and on the Tech Field Day website starting at 8AM Pacific on Wednesday and Thursday with more presentations throughout the day. All of our sessions will also be recorded and posted to YouTube shortly after. Thank you for joining Cloud Field Day Live January 31st and February 1st through our Social Media channels.
