All NGINX NGINX Sprint 2021 Tech Talks

Racing To the Future with NGINX Sprint

Conferences are the lifeblood of practitioner information exchange. We use forums and blog posts on a daily basis to help share the things we’ve learned or try to figure out something new we want to implement. However, when it comes to real conversations about new technologies or sharing more than just a single tech implementation, nothing beats talking to someone face-to-face.

The current state of the world doesn’t let us all travel to participate at an in-person conference. For the last year, we’ve been unable to meet to talk about the ins and outs of the new technology that we want to implement. When you look at the state of the world before the global pandemic and how quickly we were accelerating our digital transformation plans, you may start to wonder where we are with them or where we need to go from here. There’s never been a more appropriate time to share our thoughts with our peers to figure out where we need to go next.

Thankfully, companies like NGINX are already ahead of the game when it comes to bringing us the conference experience we need in a format we can use right now wherever we might be located. NGINX Sprint is the latest iteration of the flagship conference that brings together experts from NGINX with their partners along with users and practitioners who want to learn more about these solutions.

I had the chance to sit down recently with Karthik Krishnaswamy, Head of Product Marketing, NGINX, at F5 to talk about why Sprint is such an important event for practitioners out there. Here’s the video of our discussion:

One of the things that stands out to me in our discussion is the need for people that are currently on the cloud journey to understand where they are and how to get across the finish line. It is far too easy to get lost along the journey of digital transformation and lose sight of the goal you’re trying to achieve. It’s important to understand the tools you have and how to implement them properly to get the outcome that makes your stakeholders happy.

NGINX Sprint is going to be filled with the kinds of discussions that practitioners need to get as they look at their plans for the rest of 2021 and into 2022. NGINX partners have the use cases that we need to be looking at when we are deciding how to proceed. But even these use cases need some kind of technical background to make implementation stress-free.

That’s where Day 2 and Day 3 of NGINX Sprint shine. It’s not just listening to the speakers talk about where they’re headed. Sprint includes demos and details that IT teams want when they go to build their next modern app or migrate their platforms into the cloud. With the on-demand recordings, you can even watch it again and again to make sure you get it right every time.

NGINX Sprint is happening August 23-25 and you don’t want to miss it. The event is free to attend and the amount of content you’ll get is a huge value. If you want to register for the event, make sure you head over to https://www.nginx.com/events/nginx-sprint-2021/ and register today!
