Digital Twins | Tomversations: Episode 16

The concepts behind digital twins are fascinating. More than just a model, these are living, breathing copies of a real object. Why is that important? Because sometimes we need to work with something we can’t touch. Whether it’s a pacemaker or a space probe, having a digital copy of that object that is constantly updated with new data means we can accurately test it and ensure that it’s running smoothly or predict failures.

The future uses for things like autonomous cars and IoT devices can’t be understated. When you need to get up-to-the-minute data about something and be able to test how resilient it is from a security or patching perspective, this is what you need to be looking at.

In this episode, we delve into the topic and give some great examples of why you should be checking out this emerging technology.
