As the enterprise has turned to the cloud, so too has Tech Field Day. On March 10-12, Cloud Field Day returns, with an exciting 3-day lineup of presentations and a panel of a dozen independent technical influencers. Watch live, or check out the recordings afterward!
Cloud Field Day Presenters
Like all Cloud Field Day events, our focus is on the evolving ways in which enterprise IT is leveraging cloud computing technologies. Increasingly, all companies are using Kubernetes, containers, orchestration software, and scale-out infrastructure use like cloud service providers. And many are leveraging software as a service (SaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS). This is a repeated theme at the Cloud Field Day event series, and we expect more to come!
Wednesday, March 10 kicks off at 8 AM Pacific time with NetApp, who will be discussing their emerging cloud offerings for the first time. Then we hear from Scality at 11, including a discussion of data sovereignty. And we will finish with Intel at 1 PM, a company that is always an event highlight.
Thursday, we welcome StorageOS at 8 AM, back for their first Field Day presentation in five years. Then we have Komprise at 11 AM, discussing data management in the cloud. Finally, at 1 PM we have VMware continuing their discussion of VMware Cloud on AWS.
Friday, we begin with Veeam Software at 8 AM, continuing the story we saw in December at Tech Field Day. Then we welcome Dell Technologies at 11 AM for a discussion of converged infrastructure. Finally, we welcome Oracle Cloud back to Cloud Field Day at 1 PM.
Cloud Field Day Delegates
The delegate panel is made up of independent technical influencers from our expanding network. Along with veterans, Adam Fisher, Ather Beg, Chris Williams, Joep Piscaer, Ken Nalbone, Larry Smith, Michael Stump, Ned Bellavance, and Raff Poltronieri, are relative newcomers, Calvin Hendryx-Parker and Wences Michel, as well as first-time delegate Jamie Phillips.
This panel represents four countries and brings a wealth of real-world experience. Most are cloud architects, whether in-house, consultants, or independent. And most have respected credentials and industry certifications.
We are always looking to expand our delegate ranks and welcome submissions. If you’re independent-minded, have deep technical knowledge of enterprise IT, and share what you know in some form, submit your name!
