Tune In For Tech Field Day Exclusive at Cisco Live Global 2021

It’s time once again for Cisco Live! Even though the global event is only two days this year, Tech Field Day will be bringing an exclusive experience to the community! This event draws in IT professionals from all areas of expertise, from networking and security to cloud and wireless. Everyone wants to see what Cisco has in store for the future of the way we build networks and what trends are shaping the way we enable our users to get work done. Given the events of the past twelve months, the focus on the technology this year is taking a very specific focus on working from anywhere and enabling users to get things done in the cloud and the on-prem data center.

Monday, April 5

Tech Field Day is happy to be able to bring you great presentations filled with discussions and deep technical insights that you won’t find anywhere else. We’re kicking off the discussion on Monday, April 5, with Gluware, a company that has been at Tech Field Day almost since their inception. We’ve watched them grow and add capabilities and jump to the forefront of software-defined networking (SDN) to take the lead in helping professionals provision and maintain devices no matter where they might be located. We can’t wait to get an update from the Gluware team and find out where their technology will be headed this year.

Tuesday, April 13

The next week is when we get to jump right into the Cisco discussions. Tuesday, April 13, is a big day for connectivity. We’re kicking things off at 8am Pacific Time with the Mass Scale Infrastructure group, learning more about their new optical technologies. We then move on to talk about a big part of the keynote, SASE, which will help enable cloud migrations and access for remote users. SD-WAN is also making an appearance to help round out the branch discussion. We’ll also talk to the group from ThousandEyes to see how they are integrating their insightful analytics into the portfolio. We wrap up Tuesday with a discussion of Cisco Software-Defined Access.

Wednesday, April 14

The next day, Wednesday, April 14, continues the great discussions. We will hear from the Nexus Dashboard team to see all the new innovations they’re bringing to Cisco’s flagship data center product line. We’ll also get to talk to the Cisco AppDynamics group to see how they’re helping enable user experiences with applications to grow and improve. Keeping everyone safe and secure is a huge part of our job, so Cisco SecureX will be on deck to show us how XDR is changing the way we look at security.

Cisco Intersight will be talking about the big announcement of integration with HashiCorp. We will also get a chance to hear more about Cisco’s Smart Buildings initiatives, including some discussion of the latest wireless standards.
