Our next Tech Field Day event is September 1 and 2, so please tune in live or watch our recordings. This diverse “gestalt” event features Cisco and Pure Storage presenting on Wednesday and Avassa and Xilinx on Thursday. Here’s a quick overview of what to look forward to this week!
When we started Tech Field Day nearly 12 years ago, the goal was to have a diverse panel of independent technical delegates meet with an equally diverse set of companies. We felt that this mix of perspective and technology would help us better understand the “gestalt” of enterprise IT. Like every Tech Field Day event since then, this is reflected at our September 2021 event! We have companies presenting enterprise networking and storage, application management, and next-generation data processing, and the delegates bring understanding of every different element of the IT stack.
The event is broadcast live on the Tech Field Day website starting at 8 AM Pacific time on both Wednesday and Friday. We will have a second presentation each day at 11 AM.
Tech Field Day begins with Cisco at 8 AM on Wednesday. Now entering their second decade as a Field Day presenter, Cisco will be talking IoT and how their technology helps ensure secure access for workers. Then we have Pure Storage presenting at 11 AM. They will be discussing integration and data protection for Kubernetes workloads.
On Thursday we will see Avassa in their first-ever Field Day presentation at 8. Their platform enables distributed application management from on-premises to public cloud workloads. We close out the event at 11 AM with Xilinx. They are returning to the Tech Field Day stage to present the composable datacenter future with SmartNICs.
You can learn more about the event and our panel of independent technical influencers by visiting the Tech Field Day 24 page. Each of our delegates has their own blog, podcast, or social media platform where they share their thoughts on enterprise technology from servers to storage to networking and beyond.
